Jr. Hawks Kdg-2nd Basketball
This program is available for all Kdg-2nd grade students that are members of St. Thecla School and/or Parish. Players will develop their basketball skills, while playing in non- competitive games.
Ages
Players must be in Kdg, 1st or 2nd grades. If numbers allow, teams will be divided by grade level.
When
Season begins in mid March, and is approximately 6-8 weeks long (depending on how many games scheduled).
Where
Practices and home games are held in the St. Thecla gym. Away games will be played at other local CYO schools/parishes in the area.
Practices
Teams practice 1-2 times per week, beginning at the end of February/early March. Specific practice days/times are yet to be determined.
Games
Game schedules are not yet formulated. Games can be played throughout the week, but generally take place on Saturdays. We play between 5-7 games per season.
Jerseys
Each player will be issued a Jr. Hawk Basketball jersey at the beginning of the season.
JR. HAWKS BASKETBALL KDG-2ND GR.- 2026
Kdg-2nd grade participants will play instructional basketball with an emphasis on fun, skill development and teamwork.
